Boston culinary icons Jody Adams and Steve DiFillippo have curated a lineup of the region’s top restaurants, mixologists, and rising stars, drawing from the area’s most notable chefs, brewers, wine purveyors, and spirit vendors.
The Greater Boston Food Bank’s Yawkey Distribution Center—which powers the largest hunger-relief network in New England—will serve as the backdrop for Taste of the Food Bank. Experience the city's most authentic and diverse flavors alongside over 400 business and community leaders, foodies, philanthropists, and local influencers.
Taste of the Food Bank will include a live auction featuring the best in the local food scene, brand activations, and immersive live entertainment.

The Greater Boston Food Bank powers the effort to end hunger in Eastern Massachusetts. We understand hunger and we know what it takes to end it: empowering everyone to put food on their table, every day.
For 1 in 3 people in Massachusetts, hunger is a daily lived reality with a profound impact on their health and wellbeing. That’s why, for nearly half a century, The Greater Boston Food Bank has fueled a powerful food distribution network that puts 90 million healthy meals on tables across 190 cities and towns in our region each year. The Greater Boston Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization.

The Greater Boston Food Bank operates from our 117,000-square-foot Yawkey Distribution Center in South Boston. This is where 107 million pounds of healthy food passes through before being distributed across Eastern Massachusetts through more than 600 agency partners and direct distribution sites such as:

Meal Programs
Senior Centers, and more
Our agency partners place food orders through our online inventory system and pick up their orders at our warehouse. Some agency partners are located too far from our warehouse for regular pick-ups or have transportation challenges. GBFB operates several regional distribution sites across Eastern Massachusetts to accommodate these challenges by bringing food to convenient, central locations to ensure these agencies get the critical food that their community members in need rely on.
Food is acquired through food industry product donations and financial contributions that enable us to purchase quality, nutritious food. Last year, we distributed 107 million pounds of healthy food, the equivalent of 90 million meals.
The importance of our mission to end hunger here has driven us to operate to the highest standards of efficiency. As a result, every dollar donated enables GBFB to provide food for two nutritious meals.
